Additionally, their dodge is greatly modified as a leap skill that either damages enemies or aids allies.Ībilities Profession mechanic Sain Viktor provides healing and support, while Archemorus goes all-in on the offensive. Revenants who wander the Canthan Empire of the Dragon can choose to become vindicators, communing with the legendary Canthan heroes Saint Viktor and Archemorus, communing with two heroes through one Legendary Alliance Stance. Revenants that traverse the Crystal Desert and the Kingdom of Elona with the Path of Fire expansion can choose to become renegades, communing with the legendary charr Kalla Scorchrazor through the Legendary Renegade Stance, summoning echoes from the mist of her Warband members to attack foes and empower allies. Revenants who venture the Heart of Maguuma with the Heart of Thorns expansion can choose to become heralds, communing with the legendary dragon champion Glint through the Legendary Dragon Stance to provide boons to nearby allies by using facets. The revenant profession is only available to players who have purchased the Heart of Thorns or Path of Fire expansion. As a soldier profession, revenants wear heavy armor. Addtionally, revenant skills cost energy, a resource that replenishes over time or when switching legends. Revenants commune with two legends, chanelling only one at a time, swapping between the two while in combat. Their profession mechanic are their Legends, they commune with deceased legendary heroes and enemies from Tyria's past, which aid them in battle. Revenants channel the power of the Mists. This profession is exclusive to Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns™ and Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire™.
